Ok guys i searched and couldnt find what i was looking for , Out of nowhere last week , my laser would hit full boost 15psi , then drop down to 10-12psi. The only things if touched on my car the last month was replacing the oil cooler lines . Does this mean i have a boost leak ? , if so where and how do i check the pipes ? , i know i have to check intercooler pipes but what else and how do i tell if its leaking when the car is sitting there ?. Thanks

Intercooler might be the problem. check that too

Also check your lines from your boost controller (the BC might be leaking)

You can do different tests, if its major though, you should be able to hear a slight hissing noise....

Also, check your turbo for shaft play. Pull the accordian pipe off of the inlet and check for up and down or side to side play. When my 14b wore out, it did the same, it would spike at 14 psi then settle down to 8-9 psi and wouldnt climb any higher even with the wastegate actuator unhooked.

Ill check this out , but i dont think this is it because i was told when i bought the car it has a new 14b , and my local DSM club agreed it looks new. But ill check anyway thanks for your help guys. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

I was told that this is common on both T25 and thr 14B. Its time for an upgrade. I have this same problem.

14b does not have that problem... not mine anyway...

I have a mechanical MBC , i installed it months ago. I have not touched it since installation , and i already took it out and properly re-installed it. I hit 15psi when floored m then it just bounces off 15 and drops to about 8psi. I checked all connections from TB to the lower ICP and all looks good !?
