Just rebuilt my motor and having some problems! PLEASE HELP

I just rebuilt my motor and having a couple issues. the first thing is on the oil filter housing there is a coolant line that runs through it and i figured out one of them but cant seem to find out where the one in the back leads to, is there some kind of line that goes off it? and the other thing is im not reading any oil presure. i went with the mach v rebuild kit and it came with a new oil pump so i know the pump is good and the balance shaft removal kit was done correctly. before i started it the first time i took out the coil and turned it over for about five minutes on and off to get the presure up. then i started it for about 3-5 seconds and it didnt read anything so i shut it off. do i have to run it longer or should it have come right up? any help would be greatly appriciated, thanks

Let me take a stab at the coolant part. One part should have just a hose that goes to the big water pipe that goes into the back of the water pump. The other one should meet to a long metal tube that goes behind the turbo, and goes into your thermostat housing. It sounds like you don't have your wire hooked up to the bottom of the oil pump right. There should be a wire that comes off the the wiring harness that comes from the alternator wires. That goes on your oil pump. I am sure you will have oil pressure. You could losen the oil feed line from the top of the head, and see if it starts pissing oil. If it does, I am sure you have good oil pressure.

Yeah I hooked a guage to the engine and it was reading good oil pressure, thanks for the help.
