2G What is this connector for near thermostat housing?

i cant seem to find where the hell this sensor goes any help would be great.

being where it is it could be for the knock sensor, plug into the thermostat housing, or oxygen sensor, one other place maybe is in the tranny is it auto or manual? manual has 2 connector one for speed and one for reverse lights.

looking at positioning, i'd say it goes on the water neck, one of the sensors there. Prolly coolant temp sensor.

steel someones chilton, they have the wiring diagrams in them, kinda shitty diagrams, but should help you, if i can dig mine up ill look for you but i cant seem to find it right now, good luck

I'm pretty sure that is the plug for the coolant temperature sensor.

Unfortunately, your hand is in the way, so I can't see if the sensor has a connector on it already.

in the pic where the radiator cap is, that is the water neck it bolt to the head. there should be 2 sensors that plug into it i think. you can't really miss it if you look below the radiator cap about an inch or 2.
