everything is hooked up right...... i got spark, but the fuel is all jacked up! the engine just won't start .. doesn't even try to start. I have a walbro fuel pump, B&M Fuel press reg. I took the regulator off of the fuel rail and had someone crank on the car, fuel started pissing out... ok thats good. put the reg back on and nothing won't start... i even increased the fuel press all the way! so I then pulled my fuel rail out with the injectors still on it and had someone crank on the car and they were pulsing but it was just trickling out of the injectors. So somehow someware there isn't any or enough fuel press!? WTF??? I can't figure this crap out ... please someone through up ideas or suggestions!

Thanx

edit: well when I say it doesn't even try to start.... it doesn't turn over i guess is a better way to put it. like as if you didn't have the plug wires in and tried starting it... thats what it does. but the plugs, wires, and spark are all fine!

If you have pressure at the rail, you should have pressure everywhere else in the fuel systems pressure side.

If the fuel injectors are opperating, but have a poor spray pattern, you either have clogged injectors, or ones that aren't recieving full power/ground. You may have low pressure in the system.

Just checking to see that the fuel is flowing, isn't a real safe bet when it comes to diagnostics. The first thing I would do, is confirm the fuel pressure, and fuel volume in the rail. If that was good, I would check the power and grounds of the injector circuits. If those are good, you have clogged injectors.

ok I don't have a fuel press gauge so I am not sure if I have press, but I just got a hold of a stock fuel press reg and swaped it on and it still does the same $hit. I am going insane I can't figure this crap out... please someone help me out! could all four injectors be bad when they were just in the car and working about 2 weeks ago? could there be anything I am overlooking here? what are some symtoms to why the car will not start(as if you just unpluged the plug wires and tried cranking on it)??????????

ok this is stupid... i figured it out. The fuel pump wasn't seated right in the feed tube.. I guess it wasn't sealing! so now it started up :D :dsm: :thumb: :talon:

this car is pissing me off! after I fixed the fuel pump issue it started. I though everything was all good! well the next day it wouldn't start at all.... I messed around with the crank angle sensor and turned it all the way clockwise if you are looking right at it. then it started up but was iratic idle then i moved it back to where it was and it seemed to run alright. I drove it around for a while and then came home and parked it. then yesterday it would start at all again so I said F*** it I'll mess with it tommorow (today). So i did ..... and messing with the crank angle sensor didn't make it start this time. I put my B&M fuel press reg back on and put on a fuel press gauge and turned the set screw on the reg up and tried starting the car and it started but barley it was all iratic and crap. the fuel press is at 44psi. I have a walbro 255 pump, stock injectors, stock turbo. the engine seems like it is missing bad at idle. I think I set the ignition timing right. I grounded out that plug and then set it at the mark after BTDC.. the mark has no numbers or anything... I think that is 5 deg??? it kept wanting to die on me at idle as well so I messed around with that BISS screw and kinda fixed it. so I went for a drive ..it seemed ok. i then parked it shut it off waited a few min and tried starting it and it started fine.... so i left for about an hour came back and it started again but only on the second try. a couple hours later I goto start it and the mofo wouldn't start for $hit.... I can't figure this crap out. Someone please help me!
sorry for the long novel but i was trying to get all the details!

Thanx

so you mean to tell me out of this whole forum no one knows anything? come on there has got to be someone out there who knows their $hit!!!!

check coolant temperature switch (right next to radiator cap). Check idle position switch. Check MPI Relay.

Well now I can get the car to start but it sounds like it is running on 2 or 3 cylinders?????? WTF??? and if I give it gas it's like it has a delayed reaction.... kinda sounds like a lawnmower??? and it won't stay running!

idle switch is that one wire sensor on the throttle body. MPI Relay is like a matchbox size that attached to the ecu frame.

Did you align those marks on the cam angle sensor? If they are not aligned, CAS will never find TDC. Check injector connector. Good luck.
