Hello. I am putting together my 6 bolt this weekend and just pulled out my ross/1g rod combo. The pins are pressed into the rods (non full floating). I see no circlips in the piston/pin hole either (slot is there just no clips). Is it ok to use ross pistons like this (pressed in and with no clips)? I need some fast help please or I am stuck untill Monday.
Thanks.

yes....the clips are used in the full floating application, if you are pressed on the rod (conventional) then thats ok. basically one or the other....:dsm:

Ok cool. I thought the ross pistons were to be used as full floating only. I assume you know otherwise. Thanks for the quick help.Back to work for me.
