Valve adjustment question??

I have the 2.4l 4g64 engine. someone told me i have hydraulic valves and they cannot be adjusted, is this true? IF it is, what do i do? If not how much does it usually cost to have them adjusted?

You have hydrolic lifters which self-adjust with oil pressure.

my valves are ticking. does that mean i could have an oil leak? When i changed the oil about 3 weeks ago and now my dip stick is hardly showing any oil at all. SO i need to check for oil leaks? What could another possiblity be the reason i am having this problem?

Low oil = low oil pressure which will cause hydrolic lifters not to fully "pump up" >> ticking sound.

Track down where you're losing oil (valve seals, rings, gasket).
