New TSI , Need HELP Missing BAD

ADVISE PLEASE, I bought a 90,TSI AWD a few days ago and for the first two days it had idle surge when it was cold and then idled high around 2000 rpm, so I thought maybee a bad ISC motor so I took the entire throdle body off my 90 GST(worked perfect last time car ran), with that I changed out the TPS and the ISC,,,,after all that the car still is idleing high but now is missing real bad,,I have checked all the stupid stuff like biss screw missing and vacum lines ,dirty throddle body etc.
I also have a new Mass in the car so it is not that, I pulled the ECU and no burn spots but it does have that fish smell, could it be bad but not burnt. Is the 90 AWD and the 90 FWD ISC throddle body etc the same.PLEASE HELP ANY IDEAS.........Also turbo(boost) is fine.

Boost/vac leaks.

If the ECU smells like fish, fix it, right away.

When you say repair the ecu, do you mean replace the caps or have the entire ecu rebuilt, I have a rebuilt 90 GST ecu, will that work in my 90 AWD?
WHY DID I BUY ANOTHER DSM

I took the ISC motor off and figured out the little end plunger piece came off so I put it back on and no Idle surging anymore,BUT then I realize I have a horrible miss, The miss is so bad the car can barley be driven, especially when it is cold, I had taken the entire throddle body off ,so could I have installed it wrong. I checked all the vac lines,gaskets,new plugs and wires,,,,,,,,,,PLEASE HELP,,,,,ANY IDEAS???
Also I heard a loud pop,click sound almost like a wire arc pop sound, coming from around the first injector close to the throddle body. Could this be a bad injector.
