92 Eclipse GSX (no significant mods). Car has brand new alternator, BISS & matching o-ring, Idle Speed Controller (ISC), Accel 7920R Plug Wires, and NGK BPR6ES spark plugs. This helped completely eliminate my idle surge and studdering during acceleration. As awesome as that is (many of you know how annoying those two issues are), my car still has one very troubling problem. As the car comes to a stop, rather than the idle catching at around appx. 750 (spec), it continues to drop to 0 (dies out). When I try and start the car again, it does crank, but it refuses to kick over unless I give it some gas while cranking. Once I get it to kick over, the car seems to struggle maintaining the idle and it fluctuates between 550-750rpms. The strangest part of this whole problem is that if I leave the car alone for a few hours, when I return it acts completely normal, no problem, but then after a little bit of diriving, the problem comes back (say 30 mins into driving normally).
