Well i just had a 6bolt installed in my 2g after my car walked at 70k. The guy that did the install has done 5 others before with no problem.

MY PROBLEM:
When testing driving and getting on it the car accelerates fine and no hesitiation. But when i get on the highway driving for about 5min and i just driver regularly getting on the highway at about 45 to 60mph in 3rd-5th gear at 3000rpm the car just start hesitating and bogging. It feels like something is blocking the ehaust.

The car has... brand new plugs, and we check for any boost leaks. I dont believe it would be a boost leak problem because from 0-80 just WOT it goes smoothly without and hesitation.

So can anyone please suggest or inform me what the possible problem is.
 
you are suffering from Random missfire cause by the CAS. to fix this save up for dsmlink. dsmlink.com. in the meantime unplug your TPS to eliminate the studdering while the rpms are 2500 or higher.
why did the dude sell the car? was it cause of this problem?

I am having a very similar problem with my 6bolt swap if I drive at crusing speed for a few mins. all of a sudden my check engine light kicks on and nothing but random misfires all in a row. I got to scan it twice now and it had 2 codes-first was p1400 MANUFACTURER AUX. EMISSIONS CONTROL and the next was RANDOM/MULTIPLE CYLINDER MISFIRE. I am pretty positive the one is throwing the random misfire code and it is getting annoying i have to diconnect my battery on average now twice every day. Has ANYONE heard of manufacturer auxiliary control.. two dealerships have never heard of it and can't tell me anything unless I bring in my car and I wont drive once the CE lights on.
 
No i had the car... and it walked on me so i had a 6bolt installed... the person that installed it is a local dsmer and has done 5 other 6bolt installs and he has never had a problem like this. We are both pretty confused...
 
There has to be some other way then getting dsmlink... personnally i dont want to pay that much for that system and im not that serious into tuning to that level... after getting this 6bolt installed i just want it to be a reliable daily driver nothing nothing to serious.

i thought the same as you did, all i wanted was a 6bolt and be done with it. Instead i sink in more and more and more in this black pit which keeps sucking in money.
there isnt really any other way around it, or should i say any other SAFE route around it. You could do the potetiometer as described in magnus motorsports but that shit will only lean out your car and eventually well you know...our cars dont like being lean..
DSMlink is worth the money, you can do many things and its very userfriendly.
in the meatime you guys unplug your TPS, the sensor on the side of you t-body wht the orange plug
