I dropped my car off at a shop to get all the timing belt stuff done and i noticed when i got the car back the oil pressure gauge is not working anymore, is this a big deal or could i leave it like that? if not, how would i hook it back up?

It's probably just the oil pressure sender wire has fallen off the sensor. It's right near the driver side wheel (I forget exactly where). But it's where the oil filter attaches to the housing. Facing towards the back of the car, there will be what looks like a small metal dome with a head on it. There should also be a loose wire with a clip dangling near there.

Connect the two, and that should fix your problem. I ended up having to bend the clip a little to get it to stay on. It kept falling off. I cleaned it all off with some WD, and then carefully pried the little metal tab inside up with a screwdriver.

If you've driven the car for more than 30 seconds with the gauge reading 0, then you're not actually getting 0 pressure (you would've siezed already, I know firsthand).
