I have been searching threads forever now, and cant seem to find similar problems with car starting related issues on a 2g, only I find threads on 1g.
I have 52k miles, 97 GST. Garaged kept every winter. Christmas break took the car out to install some parts.
3 weeks ago, installed new clutch master cylinder rebuild. Then install evo16g, walbro 255 & rewire. Then install 550cc, put back 450cc (stock) b/c I dont have my afc 2 yet, couldn't boost w/ 550.
With each mod I drove the car for a day or two and drove exaclty how is should drive.
So the last thing I messed with on my car was putting the 450cc back in. I drove it that whole day. The car drove fine. Only thing bothering me was the new fuel pump needed to be primed and took second start to turn over, but all good. Started fine.
Then recently getting cold, I am move the car out of the garage, starts up fine first time. But idles low and dies unless I give it gas and put it into gear. I back it out the driveway and the car dies. I start it up again and proceed to back it out.
Next morning car wont start. (real cold - 18F) I jump my car but no prevail. Volts on Optimum battey are 12.5-13volts. I try again today when its warmer in the day, Starts just barely(think of your car starting as weak as possible) then dies. Like I am not even sure it started because the rpms didnt even have a chance to rev. So I am basically not able to start the car, and if it does start it does stay on.
First things that come to mind are doing a compression test. My fuel pump is working, I hear the loud 255 start. I checked all fuses under hood and inside the car. Spark plugs are Ngks I changed out 2 years ago w/ wires(first mod). All sensors are connected aroud the throttle body and fuel rail. Just put in new radiator fluid week ago. Oil changed when I did turbo install couple weeks ago too. leakingy nothing. Might take out ECU, but usually isnt 2g related. Ordered new ngks though. Looking for another alternator since it probably is getting bad b/c my 2 12' subs have be power surging a bit between 12-13 volts. Dont give me that bullshit crankwalk story. (tired of hearing it, I am saving money dont worry)
I am stumped what I should do first????????Or change out???
Be nice if some 2g masters could tell what is with my 4g63 to get it running again.

Here is an engine pic of my car like a day before my car wouldn't start. The coolant resevoir is back the car and filled with coolant that the pic doesnt show. I put the coolant resevoir right by the bov. The other can is a OBX oil catch can.
