Noisy A** sunroof

Does anyone have this problem, a lot of wind noise from the sunroof....also at 120 it hops around, never had this problem with my lude so i was wondering if it a DSM thing, or just on the second gen DSMs, if so what causes it and what is needed to fix it, also the slide that goes under the sunroof broke in the middle, anyone know how to fix this as well.

Yeah mine whistles like a mofo at about 120mph cuz the latch is worn out. But the ones in the 2g's are electric so it could be the weather stripping needs replaced or the tracks and wheels are worn out.

my sunroof does the similar thing as well...if im just driving down the highway doing about 65-70 the right side of the sunroof will hop and clang back down....one day i opened the sunroof all the way and lifted the right side and it lifted up but the left side didnt, is there some sort of screw maybe that its missing?

My sunroof rattles like crazy, i have to have it open up a crack inorder tohave the rattle stop. good luck in fixing it.

I took mine apart and put it back together and tigthened all the bolts. Good as new.

On a 2G sunroof, those 6 torx fasteners are to be held with LocTite. It's supposed to be 1mm lower at the front than at the back. You tell me how to figure that goddamned measurement, and you'll win a prize.

I put a deflector on mine, and it helps a lot without looking awful. I got the Bene Vento because it mounts with a couple of clips instead of tape:

On a 1G, the sunroof will make less noise if you have a window cracked, or the vent intake closed.
