car idles to low and stalls

sometimes when i turn my car on the idle just goes reallllly low and then just stalls. if i give it some gas it doesnt stall but if i dont it stalls. after driving like 15 ft to like a stop sign its fine .

other tiems when i start it. the idle is almost at 2500rpm/


this just started happening all the sudden. wahts up with my car?

happened to my friend's eclipse after we reconnected the battery after a car show... it would idle at like 300rpms for a while and get close to stalling, but a little tap on the pedal and it kept it from stalling. its usually a sign of the car trying to relearn the fuel maps after loosing them from memory.

Could be a bad ISC.

The ISC, if it goes bad will mess up your idle. Just check it as described in the link turboholic posted.

Just read through that and try all the things the page suggests. It helped me troubleshoot my idle.
