I think my car is leaking antifreeze. I was actually going to change my slave clutch cylinder when I noticed this green liquid under the car. I found drops all under the engine, couldn't find the source. Where should I be looking to find the leak?

And one more thing...My clutch is slipping and the clutch pedal is stuck to the floor, so i was told the slave cylinder was leaking. But when I look at the clutch oil reservoir the level is max. (If i'm looking on the right reservoir, the small one besides the brake reservoir?)

this is what you asked me for:thumb:

god that is one ugly engine bay..i wonder whos car that is.....

Thanks for the help. Strange though...the fluid messures max in the reservoir. Can it really be the slave or master cylinder that is leaking? The clutch pedal is stuck to the floor, and the clutch slips.

If the fluid level is fine, and it's still on the floor and slipping, you need to adjust the clutch rod that is connected to the clutch pedal. Loosen the nut on the rod and twist the rod so that it brings the engagement point further out in the pedal. It's really not hard to do and I think there is a vfaq on it at www.vfaq.com

If you can't find radiator leakage around the hoses or radiator then check the water lines to the turbo. I just replaced my turbo and I have a leak on one of the lines probably because I didn't use new washers but I'll be putting those in in a couple of days.

i am the leak master! places most likely to leak. check the lower/upper radiator hose and make sure hoses are secure and on right(just a little off causes leaks), termostat housing also needs to be checked along with hoses that lead from it. there is a 3/8 s hose behind the oil filter which is prone to leakage( and if leaks it leaks it leaves everywhere!. radiator itself checked for holes. check resevior for holes on bottom.
and if none of these places are leaking...sit under car while and have freind above it with car running. warm. and hopefully the leak will present itself.

There are 2 small rubber hoses that carry coolant to & from the oil cooler that the oil filter is screwed into & don't forget about the 2 rubber hoses that carry coolant to & from the heater box at the firewall. It's mind boggling how many clamps & hoses mitsu sticks in the engine bay, has anybody ever counted the total?
