Its like this i really dont know whats wrong with my car but when a step on the gas to the floor and the rpm is like at 2800 to 3000 the engine kinda stop or somethings really wrong and i dont know how to explain it to you guys. The engine like stop responding for like seconds then it accelerate hard again is it the tranny? engine? it like this BROOOOOOOO at 2800 3000 rpm stop responding then OOOOOOMMMMMM again can someone help me explain whats wrong or does this happen to you guys? or maybe its the fuel filter? cos it got change last 3 months its fram fuel filter i know i know fram sucks my bad i think i'll gonna go to dealer and get one...

check out all of the electronics (plugs, wires, etc.) and hope it isn't something expensive like needing a alternator.

i REALLY doubt it's altenator. I have problem with my brother's pontiac, hit the gas, doesn't do anything, kinda sputters, then goes, took her down to our shop and tapped on the cat, and found that mother fooker is packed. So clogged cat for me, but with you having a 99, I really doubt that. Try fuel injector cleaner, or maybe you just got some bad gas.

I think bogs are not usually as igntion related as misfiring.

I would try plugs,wires first if they are getting on in miles.
My car would misfire at full throttle.Was bad coilpacks.

For fuel well you changed out fuel filter. Possibly fuel pump problem,possibly injector problem.

And possibly things like tps or ecu problems.

And also the old clogged cat problem too.

I have a similar problem now.But its intermittent and seems to happen after driving car for like a hour.It starts to bog off the line like you are describing and then bogs thru the range.

Oh and guess the old bad boost leak can cause this stuff too.

And to make it worse I assume like me you have no check engine light.

I think we really do need some type of logger.!!
