I just changed plugs and wires because it was that time and now I inherited this annoying studder while accelerating. I went from the stocker wires to an oversized "performance wire" from APC. (Dont lecture me on the whole APC thing, they were dirt cheap) I put champion plugs in it because no one had NGK's around here(figured they would get me by for a while till I could find some NGK's) Went for a drive to make sure everything was OK and discovered that when I was at WOT the car would studder around 4k-5k then keep going. It does it in every gear, just not as noticeable in first gear. I checked plug gap first. AUTOJUNK's book said said .34. Tried that then lowered to .29. Nothing changed. Then I blamed the wires. I checked them w/ multimeter, they checked OK. Dont know what else the problem would be now. I would have tried to put the old wires back on but a couple of them fell apart as I took them off. PLEASE HELP!!

I installed the Accel 7920R plug wires along with NGK BPR6ES spark plugs...problems all solved.
