2G ECU jelly gunk stuff stuff

Okay... I opened up my ecu to see if the capacitors were leaking or any part of the pcb or componants were showing signs of mishap.

Well the case is filled with some non-conductive silicone-like jelly...

does anyone know how to get the pcb out? I am so close to shelling out cash to have this prob looked at, please help!!!!

I believe the leaky capacitor problem was only inherent in the 1G DSM ECUs. I would think that the non-conductive silicone-like jelly will protect your ECU from leaky capacitors and engine heat...

I saw that on mine too. I've seen pictures of other CPUs and haven't seen anything like it.
