1g laser.need help just dies.

I got a 90 laser turbo when it gets warm it just cut off.After a while it will start back up and drive for a little bit then cut back off. If u can help please let me know.I have asked about 100 people and they dont know.thank you

are there any ce lights? do you know any one with a data logger? The only thing i can think of is log the car while driving and record it then when the car shuts off just review what was going on with all the sensors and stuff to see whats up.

It sounds like your ECU is going bad, do you by any chance hear chattering coming from behind the radio? You said it restarts after awhile, do you mean it won't restart right away & maybe sounds like it's trying to start a little- but only on 1 or 2 cylinders? 1 way to check it is to swap in a good ECU from a freinds car of the same configuration & see what happens or swap your ECU into his car & see what happens. ECU's are specific for model year, AT or MT & 49 state or California--go by the part number that's printed on your ECU.

i had a camaro that did smular to the same thing, it was because it had a jacked head gasket, the water was going into the oil and the temp gauge didnt work, so i didnt know it was heating up, so basically it would just shut off till i put more coolant into it adn sat a few min, then started back up

do a compression test see if your hg is blown
