They're five bucks, it costs more than that in carb cleaner to wash one out. Grab a new one and throw it at it.

What _symptoms_ are you experiencing?

my car is burning oil 4K miles after rebuild and I am running out of ideas why. I have no money to rip the engine appart AGAIN so thats why I am hoping it is something "small". I took the PVC out today and it is fine (cleaned it just in case)... more than likely I have f***d up engine job. Still car pulls ok so Ill just keep pouring in tons of oil :|

My gsx used to burn oil like crazy... turned out to be the turbo seal.. :/ I would'nt know the first thing about testing it but it might be worth a shot.

thanks man, but in that case I would have oil all over my intercooler pipeing but I dont have that.

I looked around DSMTuners and I see all of the people are running 10W30 oil. I think I will try thicker oil asap.

My car leaked oil after it was worked on by goober at the shop, he had a thing about not using lock-washers(the bolts holding the exhaust manny to the turbo-house unscrewd themselves) & he had a thing about saving a peso by re-using gaskets & seals---like the seals that go to the turbo oil line fittings--they leaked & drooled & are easy to visual inspect.
Regarding the use of fatter oil, note that the factory specifies a thinner oil for the turbo models, I'm guessing for the purpose of getting good lube to the turbo bearings.
