transmision question

hey i got a question about my 91 tsi. it is hard sometimes to put it in first gear, it will fall out sometimes, but the other gears are fine. i was wonderin if this was a big problem i need to get fixed, and wut i should do to fix it

Check the shift cable brackets under the hood for loose/ missing fasteners - Check out a cable adjustment at the shifter per the VFAQ - check your Tranny Fluid levels.
