hesitation/sputtering in 4th and 5th gear

ok, here goes... I can't figure this crap out! on the highway, in 4th and 5th gear... if I stomp it or get on it at all the car sputters like it's not getting any fuel ( afc shows right correction though ) happens at about 10lbs of boost. in lower gears there is no problem at all, the car pulls strong all the way to redline and boost is steady at 15 lbs. I don't think this is fuel cut, I've been in a car with fuel cut problems, much different... The car also does something to the effect of this in 4th and 5th when I let off the gas????? help guys this is freakin annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried changing your plugs/wires ? I have the same problem and have heard many say thats what causes it on thier DSM's.

yeah, i replaced the plugs, but not the wires yet didn't seem to help much at all

Pop the hood in the dark, see if your wires are leaking spark.
