Smokin in your DSM

How many of you do it? Is it that bad for the interior? I know my car smells like shit now.. But can it stain the interior? I have a cloth interior. Lemme know, pz.

I dont, and I dont allow it.

its going to Cover all your glass with a Film of soot and youll have to whipe it off and it will smear and totally suck ass.

as for the interior of course it can stain it, its smoke, but it woudl take a long time to notice. but it builds up. covers surfaces. and smells like ass.

Lol. Yea, smoking is definitely not cool. The problem is that a couple years ago I _THOUGHT_ it was cool. Now I'm addicted. Bleh.

I've tried spraying the interior w/ Febreeze but it still smells like ass in the morning or whenever I get in the car for the first time. Definitely gross.

It's not as bad on leather interior as cloth.

One thing that makes it really stink is if you use your ashtray. I can't stand that stale stench so I just use the window.

most smoke stores have this shit you put in their that does a better job than frebreeze. i forget what its called.

proby have to leave the windows open after you spray shit in it.

It can stain the interior very badly. When I bought my Daytona years ago the person I bought it from smoked. I was fixing a few things inside the car, took the panels off and you could see the difference in color where one panel would cover another. It was two completely different colors. The covered up part was a nice grey color, but all of the exposed parts of the interior had a light green color almost from the smoke staining it.

Obviously you have more concern for the interior of your car than the interior of your lungs. You can always get another car but an other set of lungs is hard to come by.

As for me, a smoker, I dont allow smoking in my car. If u see someone on the side of the road standing next to there black talon with a smoke hangin out, its me.

It is SO bad to smoke in your car. If you ever want to sell it, DON'T DO IT! It is the most impossible odor to remove. Have you ever seen a house that someone smoked in? Yellow walls, nasty odor, you have to clean and paint to get rid of it. However, if you do smoke, you may or may not notice that your sense of smell has been diminished...so it won't be so bad. A couple of things you can do IF YOU MUST...open a window, always. Avoid leaving butts in the ashtray, and empty and wash it immediately after use (this alone should be incentive to STOP!) There are these new air fresheners out on the market...Glade or something like that. They're liquid. VERY potent. Clean your car regularly. But, of course, the best thing to do is don't do it. This is not something you will ever be glad you did.
