big probs

my 95 GST runs like crap. if i feather the throttle it will rev up fine. if i floor it, the engine hesitates and misses and it sounds like a popping sound. when i drive it, wont rev past 2000-2500 rpms. runs fine below that. at idle it sometimes dies and it misses. replaced plugs and wires. fuel pressure is 45 psi at idle. timing is 5 degrees with ign. timing check connector grounded. what could be wrong?

Also, how old are your plugs and wires, and make sure you're running NGK 6's at .028 gap.

you can also try searching the forums for that "pop" noise. i believe i have came across another post describing a "pop" noise before. not sure if its going to match up with your problem but it might. good luck!

shouldnt fuel pressure be 43 psi?
