edmonton,
Since I basically got my car about 5 months ago the idle was always screwed up, I did the initial mods of removing lowhoneycomb, silencer, widening the air bypass and adding a K&N to the hacked aircan.
since it started to get cold my idle would have these small putters at traffic stops and after driving it hard enought to let the car idle to cool down the turbo the car would go from like 800rpm down to 400 and back andfourth, sometimes worse and sometimes not asbad.
Anyways I was going to take off my intercooler today to clean it and figured I mightaswell try the lower honeycomb back it and see what happens. put the lil guy back in and it idles perfect now. not one bump or anything, stays at 750rpm onthe dot and hardly moves.
Not to make any1 feel bad who has idle problems, but when I did it was the most fustrating thing. If any1 has their honeycomb still with similar syntoms to me, I suggest trying this.
