i was leaking oil from the front cover and changed the front main seal, oil pump seal, cam seals, and balance shaft seal, along with the oil filter housing gasket and valve cover gasket. this stopped my oil leak but im still losing about a quart of oil every 1000 miles and thats just at cruise.

im not burning any oil or smoking at all when i get on it, no white smoke what so ever. cylinders have perfect compression in them at 150psi.
i looked around the tranny area to see if maybe the rear main was the problem but i cant see any oil around there. only place i have left to change is the oil pan gasket, there is some oil around there. can a bad oil pan gasket cause me to lose this much oil?? anyone have any other suggestions?

Don't be surprised of you have a pin hole in the flex area of you Turbo drain line - it's an Aluminum POS - AND a leak where it meets the oilpan. Makes a helluva mess over time - Honestly the drain pan is one of the last leaks you'll have IMO - that RTV is trapped in there.

Valve cover gaskets & the Spark Plug Donuts - The gasket at the Oil Filler cap, 99 cents - both can get hard & brittle as a cookie.
