Lets see, where do i start? About a month ago I installed an under car neon kit. My buddy (who is a professional installer at my work) told me i should hook up the neon's to the power wire that goes to my headlights. So we did that and everything was fine. Then a couple weeks after we did that, I got an aftermarket stereo installed also by my buddy. So, last week i notice my car acting up (turn on headlights and car almost stalls, CEL flicks on when that occurs, Stereo clicks on and off, and then one morning car would not start it had no power at all untill i disconnected the battery for about 30 seconds and reconnected and it started right up) I asked my buddy about it, and he said that I should bring it by his shop and we will figure it out.
So yesturday was the day i was supposed to go to his shop. I went to go over there and got in my car, started it up. Turned on the head lights and the car shut off. Then i tried again this time leaving the headlights on and it started. The car drove for about a block and died. This time hazard lights, head lights, stereo will not work. I pushed car to the side of the road and it started a few times again, but died with headlights on. So i called my roomate to come help me out, and called my buddies shop and told him what the problem was....My buddy told me to unplug the neons from the wire we connected it to, did that and still nothing. My roomate came over to where i was, I got the car to start up again but would not stay on if i did anything with the headlights or stereo....Luckily the hazard lights worked and i had to have my roomate follow me back to our place. When i got home, i went to roll up the window and it did, but it stopped about 1/2 inch from the top and the doorlocks would not lock by pressing the button. So the rest is obvious, i had to lock the door manually and i was stuck with leaving my window open overnight. By the way I turned on the headlights just to see if they were still working and they did, but when I went to turn them off they wouldn't turn off. So i had to go disconnect the battery. So if anyone can help me out on this, i would appreciate it. Thanx!
