Tampa,
I recently installed the dejon tool simple MBC with no apparent problem. The need for the MBC came when I replaced my T25 with a Evo III 16G and my new turbo only ran 7psi w/o a mbc. After I installed it I took it out and it stuck at a solid 10psi all across the powerband. The problem arose when I tried to adjust the boost. I turned it maybe 1/8-1/4 a turn to the right and when I took it out for a test drive it ran at 15psi until about 5500rpm in which boost kept on increasing with no end in sight until I hit the clutch. What the hell could have happend? Thanks in advance for advice.

mad boost creep or you didnt adjust the mbc properly.

this doesnt belong in the extreme forum btw. ;)

i agree this isnt really an advanced technical question, you obviously have boost creep, i had the same problem my dejon tool, i got a new boost controller, and got a bigger wastegate(internal)

What exhaust do you have? External or Internal O2 wastegate routing? Sounds like boost creep. Pretty common occurence depending on your setup.

Do a search on Boost Creep and see if it matches your symptoms.
