Oil Pressure Problems maybe????

Ok just got in my car today and I go to turn it on and I notice that the oil indicator "meter" is all the way on low. I have a 98 GST BTW and it usually jumps toward the middle right away, a little below if I remember correctly...was thinkin maybe it was like that because the car was cold so maybe it would sit there for a while....well its been sitting on low when the car been on for long time, and it usally has movement the more I get on it but it was on dead low, didnt even budge. Some1 please help, this an indication of something wrong???

-If the motor still has oil in it, then check the area to the left of the oil filter as you are standing at the front, look for a loose wire, it hook on to the tin can looking thingy.

That's called an "Oil Pressure Gauge". First, check your oil level. If it's okay, then check for the loose wire above, and if that doesn't correct it, get a new oil pressure sender.

ok so I checked my oil and evreything still good, I know I need an oil change soon been abomut 3k miles but I dont think "used" oil would cause it to do this, also checked for that connection seemed fine, dont know what else could be, anything else I could check for??, please and thanks
