valve seals bad?

I have a 92 AWD turbo laser and it smokes occasionally at idle and disappears when I accelerate. I thought it might be the valve seals are going bad. Could this be the problem? I did a compression check on it and the compression is good in all 4 cylinders (all around 150-155psi). What could the problem be?
