Help with Fuel Pump or Relay!!!!

I have a 91 Laser and I have replaced the ECU, new battery, and new fuel pump. My Laser recently died on me, had it towed, then the next morning I tried to start it just for the hell of it, and it started up like nothing was wrong with it. So I drove it for about 2 more weeks, then it died again. So I checked the line where the fuel runs and I got nothing, but I messed with the wires connecting to the fuel pump, then I got fuel running through. So I drove it a day or so and it died again. Could this just be a short in the wiring connecting to the fuel pump or would I need a new fuel pump or the Fuel Pump Relay??? Thanx for your help!!!

sounds like a loose power wire to the fuel pump or to the relay to me.

That happened to me once when I first put in my bigger fuel pump. I just redid the wiring and made them more secure.
