just want to make sure this is correct before i go and spend 200++ dollars to replace this thing.......i have a bad idle surge, so i did the test for the ISC as the vfaq's said...this is what i came up with...1-2 28ohms. 2-3 28ohms, 4-5 0ohms, 5-6, 28ohms....all were good but 4-5 does that mean the motor is bad, also on my logger the ISC comes up as 120 steps and doesn't move...

one more thing i need to replace my biss screw, i have new screw but can't seem to get the old one out. doesn't screw all the way up for me to pull it out...stops about an 1/8" from the top...any ideas how to get it out besides removing the TB?????

You can use a magnet.....
Hmm have you removed your honey combs out of your maf?
Could also cause a funky idle

yea your ISC is no good, Mine was doing the same thing and 4-5 read 38ohms. I would check eay before paying $200 for a new one, I know theres a site that sells rebuilt ones for like $90 but I can seem to remember the name, I sent the guy 2 bad ISC motors and he paypal'ed me $30 Good Luck

Dam more money to put out on this car...when will it ever end...welcome to the world of DSM's:dsm:

Thanks Mike1992 for confirming that the ISC was bad..if you can remember were u sent urs please get back to me..i'd much rather send $90 then $200+

Thanks TheCrazyDSM'r for the magnet trick
