I recently got done with a bunch of major upgrades on my car. On my way home, on the interstate the car began to shake really bad, my first instict was flat tire. so I pulled over and check everything was fine, I drove awhile longer and the same thing happened except I notice the shaking was accopanied by the engine sounding sick and not responding well. Tonight the same thing happened just after I "rodded" through 1st gear. except it doesn't go away after I stop the car. It idles somewhat sick also. I have to leave it off and let it set for an hour or more then it will only be okay for a few minutes before it starts shaking again. Also when this is happening my A/F gauge does not appear to be working properly, it is just a solid lind from the the lean almost to the rich. Sometimes when I give it more gas than usual it will sputter and then begin running normaly.. Could this be the TPS going bad?, I know it is on the verge.
