Got a big problem. I purchased an intake from bomz racing (big mistake), and the intake did not include an air flow meter/sensor, which the 1.8L First Gen has on the stock air box. If I do not have the sensor on, the "Check Engine" light is on. When the engine is reved all the way, fuel can be smelled.
If I leave it on, will it ruin my engine? What can I do? I'm sure this problem is common. Please Help.

its bad. its best to not have it on believe me.
