k well my car is smoking blue, and i just got the engine redone 2000km ago. i check my intake for oil and there was nothing, i checked my spark blugs and there was no oil on them. now the last thing is to check the hot side of the turbo maybe a seal is broken or something like that.

i was in my drive way today, and it was raining out side and i was giving my car gas to look at the smoke and i could have seen oil drops on the floor which came out of my exaust.

i always kept under 4thousnd rpm for 1650km druning my engine brakin
it never blew smoke, then i get my exhaust changes and it's blowing smoke like mad and i check my oil and i was missig 1.5 l

what can this be??

i checked my spark blugs and they looked fine, but i did i lost 1.5l in 200km of driving, can a turbo really take all this oil if the seals are bad

Yes

Let me tell you I've gone through 4 turbos since Jan. and it wasn't my fault. If you have a T25 I'll almost bet it's the turbo. Do check compression. How many miles did you say you had on it? I really doubt it's your engine. If you have a T25 there should be almost no play because it's so small. If it is your turbo and you don't have a warranty get rid of the turbo they suck, latest mine lasted 2.5 days. Now im on the 4th and it's fine.. Let me know

i have a small 16g with only 2000km on it

but a few mounths ago i spun a rod bearing, now maybe some shards of metal ate away at my seals on my turbo becaus i cheched for shaft play and there was none, and i checked for oil in my intake tube and it was fine

well its still under warrenty if this is the problem i'm gonna see it i can get something bigger:thumb:

it could be that you are not getting enough oil to the turbo, and thats why you keep going through them. Maybee try running the oil line from the oil housing, instead of the head? RRE sells a kit for that

I kinda have the same problem... but it's like my car spits out oil from the exhaust when I stomp on it??? Someone told me that it might be from a boost leak but..... I'm kinda new to this DSM thing... so can anyone help me out..... thanks.... Mike

well i gave up and sent my car off to a local dsm shop.

they found the problem and the cause of it was my head. apperently my seals on the exhaust side all floatted and was causing all the oil to be shot out of the car!
i never figured that coould happen?? did this happen because the person who rebuilt my head ####ed up, or the seals were bad from the start and just broke after 2000km:confused:
