Car Problems..died on freeway.

Well, I was on my way to Roseville with a friend, when my car just suddenly dies on me. I pull over..the car cranks good and strong. I can hear the fuel pump whining when I am cranking it over. All hoses look good, fuses. So I tow it to my friends place, we pull out a spark plug wire and point it to a ground to see if there is a spark, and there is none. So maybe my coil pack is faulty? What else would cause no spark? ECU? Have checked all known fuses so far..anyone else suggest anything?

When you let the car sit for a bit, then turn the key to on, do you hear realy going nuts, injectors cycling, the whole car seems to start clicking and stuff? If so, ECU caps would be my guess, thats how mine died, otherwise I would start with testing the coil pack.

Nope..I don't hear any of those things. Is there anyway like autozone, kragens or an auto store can test the coilpack?

What about Crank Angle Sensor, how hard to check that?
