oil everywhere = turbo bad???

Took it to a mechanic, they think my turbo is bad. But I have oil EVeRYWHERE, and it smokes like no other. neighbors thought i set it on fire. What else could be wrong, even though compression and oil pressure checks from a mechanic show all else to be good? I probably shot a good quart or two of oil out my exhaust pipe. It also caught fire below the exhaust manifold the night I got it. I was hoping someone here could give me a better idea of what I should think of replacing, so I do not buy anything unnecessary. Any help would be helpful!

We need more info on where the leak is coming from. My advice is to wait the engine is cool and degrease the motor and wipe off any deposits on the block and turbo area. Start the clean motor and wait for it to happen again, shut the car off and try to locate the oil leak from your clean motor. The leak should make itself public by this point. Good Luck.
