My check engine light turned on a few days ago, i had it checked and was told it's a ERV, the exhaust recirculation vavle might be faulty. It was reset and was fine for 2 days, it just turned on again, i think it's the same thing. My question is can i drive with it faulty, or does it have to be replaced immediately? I dont want to fix it if i dont have to really. What does it do exactly? What happens if i leave it alone?
