Im an Idiot, please read this (idle)

after monthes of work, monthes of reading, monthes of asking questions, about my idle, im sitting in the local parkin lot and a farm grit walks over, says 'hmmmm" grabs ahold of my throttle body, pushes on the flapper, and idle is perfect, ... the bastard.

anyways, how can it be possible for 2 throttle bodies, to have the same problem, why is my flapper not closing enough?

any ideas?

the guy taht found the problem was no mechanic, hell, he has never even had a car!!!!

he drives a 70's ford and all, damn, im an idiot

sounds like you got the throttle cable to tight buddy. leave a tiny bit of slack in it, so when the pedal is all the way up its fully closed

ok, i loosened it, but it isnt down to where it should be.
ill ground the pins and try to set the base idle again, and see what happends
