1G OBD1 Diangnosis Port seems to be not working

I have a data logger from digital tuning inc.. It was working fine until tonight, for some reason it says that there is no connection with the ECU. Has anyone experianced this andhas the solution? Everything is hooked up properly it just doesn't work..

Funny you mention, I had exactly the same problem, also the other night

My problem was due to the connector to the palm (the one with the happy little button on it that sucks). The pins on the connector (they're not pins though, they're tiny little bent over tabs of weak weak metal) had been just mooshed down after plugging and un-plugging so much. I just basically pried up all of the connectors a tiny bit, and reinstalled, and that fixed my problem.

Also, make sure that that extra wire you need to connect to a power source is still plugged in. I accidentally kicked mine out of the fuse holder once, and that caused it to stop working.

my 91 gsx is doing the same thing, but it was working fine on my 91 tsi.
and my tsi is tore down at the moment so i can't test it to see if it still works on it or not

Tonight I tried it out on my friends 92 Tsi, and it worked fine. I went and plugged it in my car and it started to work again. Then I went and put all the dash back together and it started not working again.

I really don't know what the hell is going on. I am about ready to throw all this stuff in the trash.
