Cleveland,
ok, heres the deal. when i turn the key, the car just whines, and wont start. it doesnt even crank. but when i do it the 2nd time, its starts fine. this all started a couple days ago. i had my brother try to start it while i looked under the hood. and the belts dont even turn. it just sounds like its crying. but it always starts up the 2nd time. and it does it no matter what the temperature is. if any one knows anything, please let me know. i searched but didnt find the same thing. thanks

Your starter is going out or the bolts that hold it against the tranny are loose. A starter gears is pushed out when the ignition key is turned to start and it sounds like the gear is spinning its just not making contact with the flywheel. I would check the bolts that hold it on the tranny and if they are loose tighten them otherwise pull the sucker off and have it bench tested at a local automotive store, its usually free!
