Wastegate question. Turboing a 420a

I think the guy sent me the wrong wastegate controler. I don't see any way it could possibly work. The dirt markings on it look like they match up but it comes no where near the actuator. I'm baffled, the kit is custom, so I called the guy I got it from and asked him, he said something about a pin, but that he really didnt know and that he will have the guy that built the kit call me and tell me how to work it. But anyway I can't find anywhere to put it.

where did you get the kit from? looks like the HRC kit, did you check w/ HRC to see how things work?.........
