Hey waasup guys i am new to this DSm tuning and need some help. i just bought a 91 Eagle Talon Tsi wit 117,000 miles on it. My Alternator froze up the other day Snap the belt. i picked up a alternator today and instaaled it. i did the usual disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and did my work. they car was still driving before i started. After changing the alternator i connected the neg terminal of the battery and i didn't see a spark or anything So i go to start the car and it doesn't start. it cranks but no start. So i immediately check for spark and i have it and also check for fuel at the fuel filter and i have pressure thier also. i have read in a post previously that people have had problems wit this year car and i pulled the ecu out from behind the radio and opened it up and saw the board had burn marks around this one area so i assumed the ecu is burnt. So i ampicking up a new ecu 2morrow. i want to install this new ecu but want to find out what could have oriinally fried the first one any info would help guys. One thing vehicle has had no mods bone to it yet

Try charging the battery completely, I have a 90 TSI that will crank and not start when the batt gets low.As soon as it is charged it is fine.
