keep breakin turbine wheel

ok i just bought my car and had it for two weeks and i was drivin around and all of a sudden i lost all power and it wouldn't boost at all and started smoking at idle so i took it apart and found that the turbine wheel was totally gone and so i got a new turbo and the same thing happened and i don't know why it keeps happening and it's costing me a lot of money i don't have and iwas wondering if anyone could tell me whats wrong i thing it's either an oil line is cloged or my bov isn't working right. so if anyone could help me it would be much appreciated.

order up a new oil feed line.

i just had the same problem come on in my car. killed my big 16g first but i didn't realize the problem, now it just killed a 14b.

so while i do have the new engine in and running it just managed to un-turbo itself.

Must have decided it didn't like boost.

well seeing as how it was a full turbo block with over 120,000 boosted miles on it, it should have been used to it by now.

Perhaps your BOV isn't working right and you have compressor surge. That will bust up compressor wheels.

Is it the compressor wheel or the turbine wheel thats getting destroyed?

I have no idea what repeatable event causes the turbine wheels on the hot side to break.

Not enough to break them... oil circulation is the only thing that I can think of right now... I'm with mavisky
