Idle Real Low

MY CAR JUST STARTING IDELING AROUND 250-300 RPM'S. IF I REV IT UP TO 800 IT'S FINE, BUT IT WONT STAY THERE. IM THINKING IT'S MY IDLE CONTROL SENSOR BUT I DOT WANT TO PAY 300 SOME ODD DOLLARS AND FIND OUT THAT IT IS SOMETHING ELSE. DOSE ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS BEFORE I START CHANGING PARTS?

umm turn the biss screw on the throttle body?

THE THING IS I HAVENT DONE ANYTHING TO THE CAR IN A COUPLE MONTHS SO IM WONDERING IF I BROKE SOMETHING. AND WILL TURNING THE BISS SCREW MESS ANYTHING UP?

thats kinda odd it just happened one day without you messing with it. Just turn the biss screw until your rpm's reach 800 and leave it there, you may have a bad O-Ring on the Biss causing it to turn itself out check it out and let me know

IJUST WENT OUT THERE AND ADJUSTED THE BISS AND IT WAS REAL LOOSE AND EASY TO TURN. I TURNED IT TO IDLE AT 800 AND IT SITS RIGHT THERE. I THINK THAT THE O-RING IS BAD. THANKS YOU JUST SAVED ME ALOT OF HEADACHS AND MONEY!

If this happens again take the biss screw out and replace the rubber O-Ring on it, and it wont come out anymore.
