Okay here's the deal...
A few days ago my car didn't want to start. Luckily, on my last attempt I got it running, I then took it to Auto Zone. My starter was good but the guy recommended me putting distilled water on my battery. That seem to do the trick,(check Engine was off) for now.

Yesterday at work I got the same sh*t, so I put in a new battery and my car starts in one try but my ENGINE LIGHT is still on...Any advise?!?
(Don't you hate that sh*t when you see the engine light suddenly appear the next morning?)

Your engine light will come on for something else other than the battery/charge system. If there were a problem in that field, a battery light will come on.

Thanks for the reply...damn know i have to spend more money for shop to diagnose my car...You think I should invest on one of those "do it yourself" diagnose computers?

ahh I think there is a way to diognose it your self with just using a pc of wire, I know you can do it to some cars because they tought me that in the auto shop. Second of all in autozone they got the check engine light tester thing, I wonder why he didn't test it?
