89 GALANT LS Power Cuts Out

I recently changed a head gasket on my roomates 89 galant LS. I was having trouble turing it over probably due to no fuel in the system. When the car sounded like it was about to turn over all power suddenly cut out. Now when I try to turn it over as soon as I turn the key to the start position poof the power cuts out. Sounds like maybe a fuse fuse, but I don't know DSM's very well yet and electrical problems suck.

Make sure you can't move the battery terminals. If you can, they aren't tight enough. It has to be the battery. You didn't blow anything, I would swear it. It sounds like you know what you are doing anyway, if you did a whole head swap.

Yep that was exactly it. Tightened them up and it's all good. Although it still wouldn't turn over since distributer was off. I didn't have time to fix it so I forked over $90 to a shop to fix that one.
