1g electrical mess

hey, i have a 90 non turbo twin cam and my wiring is a mess. i bought the car and it had been worked on but it never ran. the engine harness had been spliced and torn to peices so i took it out. so today i found a 94 eclipse in a junkyard with the same engine, the only difference was the 5spd and the body style. everything else seemed the same. so i bought that engine harness and now that im comparing both together they dont seem to match up as well as i expected. has anyone used a 92+ harness on a 90? please let me know if this will work out at all. also i need to know if there is a difference in the ecu's between the years. anyone please give me some kind of useful advice on this. thanks

the Cam angle sensor, and the 02 sensors use different plug ends, also, the coils have a diffferent plug,

prettymuch, to get it to work, youll have to get the parts that wont connect right, from the same year car.

Oh god i am en expert on this

My original engine harness fried in my 91 laser i was in the same boat as you. I bought 3 wrong year harnesses and came up with a 90 harness is completely different from any other year. You must have the exact year harness for your car. Or get the same year components on your engine for it to work with the harness. I currently have 2 1990 2.0 non turbo harness's. I lucked out and got the correct engine harness from a junkyard a few states away over the net and now my car is up and running again. If you want your car to run E-Mail me and I will sell you the correct engine harness for your car, if you need more wiring from that year car i have everything from it complete.

i know that the 90 ecus are diferent from the 91-94. i read about how they are all diff in 1000aaq or watever that site is.
