Ok, I got a 96 gs-t, I'm venting to the atmosphere with a Turbo XS BOV, and I also got a dual stage manual boost controller. Turbo sucks and hisses sounds bad ass while spooling up but when it reaches full boost, 17 PSI, it makes a whining sound. Kinda like something caught in a vacuum cleaner. Have no idea what could be causing it? Also I was hitting fuel cut with boost controller installed, lowered boost, still happened. I removed it and haven't had a problem since. I was just wanting to know if maybe I was supposed to not run it through the stock wastegate siloniod?

That really does sound like the bearings are going out. I had one that made noise, kinda like a jet during take off, when it hit high boost. It didn't last too much longer. Don't worry about it though. As soon as it doesn't boost one day, just have another one waiting.
