ok i have not had my car on the road for about 3 months now due to a blown turbo... had no cash.. finally got cah together and installed a mint 14b, no shaft play, no cracks, no leaks nothing mint... well install went good nice and easy, one problem, i turned the car on after changing the oil and coolant, and my exhaust manifold is smoking real bad from the bolts when revved up, after a few days this smoke goes away and just minimal smoke out of the exhaust, not too bad, then all of a sudden on the way home from work ( keep in mind i have a joe p mbc set to 7 psi for now and almost never hit boost lately and turbo sounds fine and no rattling at all) crazy amounts of smoke start coming out of my engine, right around my exhaust mani and under the turbo, my oil return line is leakin but would not cause white smoke that bad, now accidentally i did put oil in my coolant( grabbed the wrong bottle and before i could catch it went into the radiator, tried to flush out w/ water for awhile till came out clearer then added my coolant/water mix) i work at a dealership and have been told possible head gasket, no coolant leaks anywhere and car does not overheat but smokes like crazu now.... any suggestions or ideas of what it might be.... am doin a compression test today after work and also going to completely reflush my coolant system from the lower pipe till no oil is present.... please help thanx in advance, i need my car back.....

Sounds like a blown head gasket to me or other things. How in the world putting oil in te coolant system would make that happen is beyond me. But you pretty much eliminated the "check to see if oil is in the coolant" diagnosis since you now you put it in there. Pressurize your coolant system with a gauge and see if it drops.

I have a leak coming from the upper oil return line that drips onto the downpipe, smokes pretty bad if I run the car hard.

thats pretty funny seein how i just brought my car into the shop after work today, and found the leak coming from my oil return line and the oil line on top, now i had to cusom make some lines to fit so i have hoses going from the line on the turbo cut off to the line from the engine, and at the clamp for the top part of the hose is were its leaking.. right down on my turbo and exhaust soo thats def where the smoking is coming from cause the leak is really rally bad.... , so i think i need a steel braided line for that cause the oil gets too hot for the hoses.. otherwise made a new gasket for the oil return line and everything else seems fine except for when on cold start up idle bogs a bit and when u give it gas, bogs out a lot till it reaches operating temp.. then idle is fine.. any suggestions on that???? head gasket.. am goin to do a compression test tomorrow, didn't have time tonight... another day w/out my ride.. anyone know where i can geta line like that???

I just blew my turbo also cracked exhaust manifold, exploded downpipe. I replaced everything with good parts, also change 02 sensor. The car still smokes when i hit 7psi(whitesmoke). I drove the car a round the block and now theres oill in my exhaust. sound like we have the same problem. If solve your problem let me know
