Mississauga,
First of my mods: 18g, fmic, 255lph, 550cc, vpc, dsmlink, 3" turbo-back.
Now, what happens is when I`m cruising on the highway, at saaaay 3,000-3,500rpm (regular speed) my o2's read AND stay very low and do not cycle at all, they stay at about 0.48 or 0.25 or around there.
It seems like other times they will cycle and other times they will not, is it just me or is this a problem? Should the o2's not be cycling while at part steady throttle on the highway? I don't like the fact that at those rpm(s) my engine is not getting enough fuel. They jump up and climb once I hit the gas and boost comes on so it's ok then, just simply when crusing, and it worries me, the EGT's stay at about 650C to 700C at that speed in 5th gear.
Could it be a dead o2 sensor? It has probably been never replaced (my car is a '97 GSX), but if the o2 is faulty, and is giving the ECU a reading of that low, wouldn't the ECU try and countrer it by adding fuel?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys.
